Several years ago, shortly after getting married, I was diagnosed with a severe acute illness. My lungs were 90 percent damaged, and I was also pregnant with my first child through an insemination program.
I was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), and the doctors declared that my condition was critical. They said that even if I survived, I would never fully recover because my lung function had already deteriorated so badly. They also told me that I might need to carry an oxygen tube with me wherever I went.
Not long afterward, I received heartbreaking news—our baby did not survive. Perhaps it was because I was on very strong medication and had undergone high-radiation scans. Deep sorrow and disappointment filled my heart. I cried and could only pray until I fell asleep.
In the midst of the pain and silence, I heard a gentle whisper: “The battle is MINE. Rest.” The next morning, I felt so much better. I could lift my head, and my healing began. I chose to keep believing and praising God.
At the beginning of my stay in the hospital, my husband brought me many of Pastor Prince’s DVDs on healing and encouraged me to keep listening to them day and night. I continued listening to the messages, and we also partook of the Holy Communion and held on to the anointing oil in faith, trusting that God is good and that He would fight this battle for me.
Even when the medical reports brought nothing but bad news, we believed that the giants were only temporary. After just two weeks in the hospital, I officially received a medical diagnosis called spontaneous remission, a term commonly used to describe unexpected recoveries from critical conditions. As a believer, I call it a MIRACLE. When the doctors said it was impossible for me to fully recover, Jesus Himself came to rescue me. I was fully healed and restored.
A week after my discharge, God gave me a strong desire to serve in my church in Jakarta as a worship leader, and I have been serving there ever since. Not only that, months after losing my first baby, I became pregnant again—this time naturally. At the age of 39, I gave birth to my first son and, a year later, at the age of 40, I gave birth to my second son!
When we surrender all our hopes, tears, and brokenness to the Lord, He restores everything we once lost. God has truly worked through Pastor Prince and my senior pastor in my local church. I am grateful to be able to testify of God’s goodness so that Jesus may be glorified!
