My son went through a very challenging season due to issues in the family. But by God’s grace, things got better. However, he still struggled with his studies, especially in his poorest subjects, Chemistry and Physics. During his O-level exams, he was very upset and convinced he wouldn’t make it. He even told me he wanted to give up and repeat his Secondary 4 year.

Hearing that, I pointed him to Jesus, saying, “God will help you. Just trust in the Lord Jesus and His guidance.” I also wrote to the church requesting prayer for him, asking that God would guide him to select the best course suitable for his future.

On Sunday, 11 January 2026, Pastor Prince shared that the theme of the year was “Much More” and reminded us to prioritize spending time in the Word. So, I began immersing myself in the Scriptures using an audio Bible app. When my son asked what I had learned, I shared a simple truth with him: “God is faithful, and His promises never fail.”

Three days later, the O-level results were released. I didn’t follow my son to receive his results because I knew that God was with him regardless of the outcome. That afternoon, my son called me, saying that he couldn’t believe it—he had passed all his subjects and could enter a polytechnic instead of having to repeat another year!

God is so faithful. His goodness and mercy truly follow us all the days of our lives. All glory to our Lord Jesus!
